COACH'S QUOTE

"TIU was very good on both sides of the ball tonight," said Lakers Head Coach Joe Griffin. "As for us, we really ran out of gas and I think the Lincoln game less than 24 hours before today's game took the gas out of our tanks. We were cold from the field and simply couldn't guard McQueen or Lawani. We are improving every day in our new season, so we'll learn from this and get ready for Wednesday."

NEXT UP

The Lakers are back the Athletic & Convocation Center on Wednesday, Feb. 10 with a CCAC game against Indiana Northwest at 7:30pm. Spectators are not allowed to attend the game due to COVID, fans can watch the game here.
