Tailgating Policies & Procedures

Morris Field Parking and Tailgating

Complimentary parking is available in the Morris Field parking lot. For handicapped parking accommodations, please notify the security or operations team in advance of the game.
 

Tailgating Policies

Roosevelt University encourages fans of Roosevelt football to build a vibrant community through tailgating while adhering to the policies we have established.
  • Tailgating may begin 3 hours before kickoff and ends 30 minutes after the game concludes.
  • Tailgating is allowed only in marked sections of the parking lot and adjacent grassy areas.
  • Vehicles must remain within designated spaces. Do not block roads or emergency lanes. Any vehicle blocking roads and emergency lanes is at risk of being towed at the owner's expense.
  • All tents must measure 10x10 or smaller and must be placed directly behind your vehicle and not occupy additional parking spots.
  • Grilling:
    • Only portable propane grills permitted
    • Charcoal and open flames are prohibited
    • Please extinguish all cooking equipment before leaving your vehicle to enter the stadium
  • Please dispose of all trash and recyclables before departing.

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol is allowed during approved tailgating hours for guests 21 and older.
  • No kegs or bulk alcohol are allowed
  • No glass containers — use cans, plastic bottles, or paper cups
  • Alcohol must stay within tailgate areas
  • Underage drinking is strictly prohibited; random ID checks may occur
  • Violation of these rules may lead to confiscation or removal from the premises

Prohibited Items/Activities in Tailgating Areas

  • Fireworks
  • Large-scale sound systems
  • Public intoxication, disruptive behavior, or fighting
