Box Score ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Roosevelt University men's basketball team lost its Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) regular season finale on Saturday, Feb. 20 by the score of 78-67 to Trinity Christian College at the Athletic & Convocation Center in Arlington Heights, Ill.
The first half was a highly competitive one, featuring five lead changes and seven ties, and the two teams were deadlocked at 39-39 at the end of the 20-minute period. The second half saw the Trolls slowly build their lead back up before the Lakers cut the margin down to 52-48 with 13:19 to go on a Brian Kern (SR/Darien, Ill.) layup. However, Trinity Christian scored the next six points to extend its lead to double digits and continued to hold off Roosevelt to earn the CCAC victory.
