Box Score CHICAGO – The Roosevelt University men's basketball team won its second game in as many nights, defeating Moody Bible Institute by the score of 108-44 in a non-conference contest on Thursday, December 2 at the Goodman Center. The Lakers now own a 6-3 overall record this season.
The Lakers took control of the game from the opening tip, scoring the first nine points, including an Ayomide Ajiboye dunk just seven seconds in and a three-pointer from Josh Redic. Roosevelt continued its offensive dominance, pushing its lead to 22-6 with 11:32 to go in the half and closing out the first 20 minutes with a 52-16 half-time advantage.
The second half was more of the same with the Lakers scoring the first eight points of the half and cruising to a 64-point win, setting a new record for largest margin of victory in program history.
