CHICAGO - The Roosevelt men's basketball team begins its postseason journey tonight as the Lakers welcome Trinity Christian to the Lillian and Larry Goodman Center for a CCAC Tournament first round game at 7 p.m.

Monday night's game between the eighth-seeded Lakers (15-15) and the ninth-seeded Trolls (10-20) will determine who advances to the quarterfinals to face off against top-seeded Cardinal Stritch (27-3) this Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Milwaukee.

The Lakers open the postseason against the opponents they faced to open the Goodman Center back on Dec. 1. Roosevelt captured a 69-60 decision over Trinity Christian in front of a capacity crowd in the inaugural Goodman game, and the Lakers hope to elicit the same type of fan support inside The Lake House on Monday in order to tip off the postseason with energy.
