Chicago, Ill. - It is a busy week of CCAC crossover contests for Roosevelt with a trio of games over a six-day stretch starting on Monday night at home versus Trinity International (3-16) at 8:00 p.m. The Lakers, who have won four of their last five games and sit at 6-9 this year, then travel to South Bend, Ind., on Thursday to take on Holy Cross (7-11), before returning to Attack Athletics on Saturday for a showdown with Judson (6-14) at 8:00 p.m.
Roosevelt dropped both decisions in a home-and-home series versus TIU last season with twins Mark and
Paul Tometich combining for 93 points in the two games. This will be the first time the Lakers have played Holy Cross and Judson.
The Lakers 4-1 record in its last five games is paced by senior
Paul Tometich, who is averaging 17.0 ppg and shooting 46 percent during the stretch. Controlling the boards has also been a key to Roosevelt's success with the Lakers owning a +7.8 rebounding margin in its last five outings.
