Men's Basketball Welcomes Indiana South Bend On Wednesday

Chicago, Ill. - Tonight, the Roosevelt University men's basketball team will play host to Indiana South Bend. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Keating Sports Center.

Back on Jan. 26, the Titans (10-16) held on for a 59-51 win over the Lakers (4-19). With only 24 seconds left in the game, Roosevelt was down only three. Junior Tyler Smith had a chance to shave off two more points from the line, but he was unable to convert. Twin brothers Mark and Paul Tometich combined for 37 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

In their last game, the Tometich twins combined for 49 points, but the Lakers still came up short against East West. Dexter Newkirk led the Phantoms with 21 points and Michael Skinner pulled down 14 rebounds.

The Keating Sports Center, located at 3040 S. Wabash on the campus of the Illinois Institute of Technology, will be the home of Lakers basketball this season. Roosevelt students, faculty and staff can get in free to all home games with a valid Roosevelt ID. Tickets for the games can be purchased at the door for just $5 with children 12 and under free with an admitted adult.
