Hammond, Ind. - The Roosevelt men's basketball team ran into a buzz saw on Tuesday night as host Purdue Calumet shot a blistering 63 percent from the field in the first half and 58 percent overall for the game en route to a 92-62 victory over the Lakers at the Fitness and Recreation Center.
The loss snapped Roosevelt's two-game winning streak. The Lakers are now 2-4 on the year. The Peregrines, meanwhile, notched their second straight win to move to 3-8 this season.
