INDIANAPOLIS – Roosevelt men's volleyball earned several academic awards from the Great Lakes Valley Conference, the league announced this week.

In their first year as associate members of the GLVC, the Lakers earned a team academic award with a team GPA of 3.44 for the 2025-26 academic year. There were also 11 student-athletes who earned individual academic all-conference from the GLVC for holding a 3.30 GPA or better for this past academic year. That group was headlined by junior Yeban Youn, a 2025-26 Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA in 2025-26.

Two student-athletes – sophomores Martino Bertagnoli and Kajetan Bieniek – added Academic All-GLVC to the GLIAC Academic Excellence Team they received earlier this month. The Academic All-GLVC honor is also a second academic award for junior Andre Cippiciani, who was a CSC Academic All-District honoree along with Bertagnoli and Bieniek.

Roosevelt's other academic all-conference recipients were Simone Augugliaro, Keawe Ayau, Adrian Gajewski, Erik Gonzalez, Braxton McGonigle, Christian Reddaway and Jonathan Stovring.
