Women's Volleyball Loses to Judson in CCAC Conference Play

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Roosevelt University women's volleyball team lost to Judson University in straight sets in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match on Friday, March 12 at the Athletic & Convocation Center in Arlington Heights, Ill.

In set one, Judson jumped out to a big lead, but the Lakers fought back to cut the deficit to two points at 18-16. However, the Eagles outscored the Lakers 7-1 down the stretch to take a 1-0 match lead. Judson began the second set in similar fashion, opening up an 8-1 advantage. The Lakers were able to climb to within four points on two occasions, but Judson closed out the set 25-16 to lead 2-0. The third set was tied early on at 6-6, but Judson scored six consecutive points to pull away and secure the match sweep.
