Box Score PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Roosevelt University women's volleyball suffered a straight set loss to Trinity Christian College in a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match on Thursday, Feb. 25 at DeVos Gymnasium in Palos Heights, Ill.
The Lakers battled the Trolls point-for-point early in the opening set and trailed by just two points at 19-17 before Trinity Christian scored the next six points to win the set. In the second set, RU was down 10-6 and then scored six consecutive points to jump ahead of the Trolls with a 12-10 advantage. Unfortunately, the Trolls outscored the Lakers 15-3 the rest of the way to take a 2-0 match lead and went on to win the third set convincingly to sweep the contest.
