CHICAGO - Four Lakers had at least six kills as the Roosevelt volleyball team made quick work of visiting Moody Bible (Ill.) for a 25-14, 25-16, 25-20 victory at the Goodman Center on Wednesday night.
Makenzie Cooper and Alyssa Stilley had seven kills apiece, while Mackenzie Bell and Amy Stumpf added six each for Roosevelt (2-2).
The Lakers hit at a .455 clip in the opening set and posted a .381 attack percentage in set two to take a commanding 2-0 lead.
Moody Bible (0-1) made it interesting in set three, getting within 16-15, but Roosevelt held off the Archers' rally and completed the sweep.
