PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. - Makenzie Cooper (SR/Lincoln, Ill.) hit .444 with nine kills to just one error, but the Roosevelt volleyball team faced a tough road challenge on Tuesday against CCAC leader Trinity Christian and fell 25-18, 25-17, 25-14.

The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Lakers (12-17, 7-10 CCAC), who received six kills from Kara Sleeper (SO/Howell, Mich.) and five kills from Kendra Lee (SO/Hollandale, Wis.).

Mallory Nickelson (JR/Pacific, Mo.) had 24 assists.

Anna Maatman led all players with 14 kills for the Trolls (24-7, 16-1 CCAC), who hit .467 and accumulated 44 kills to just nine errors.

Roosevelt wraps up the regular season on Thursday at St. Francis (Ill.).
