CHICAGO – The Roosevelt women's basketball team fell to 22nd-ranked Olivet Nazarene, 121-71, inside the Goodman Center on Saturday.
Paige Gallimore led five players in double figures with 13 points for the Lakers (9-10, 4-6 CCAC). Becca Bergman had 11 points while Gina Mathews, Chelsey Crippen and Lindzy Cox all chipped in 10 points apiece.
Jess Learned led five double-digit scorers with a game-high 23 points for the Tigers (13-5, 7-2 CCAC). Maggie Schmidt had a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds.
The frenetic quick-shot offense and pressing defense employed by ONU generated 30 or more points in three of four quarters while forcing the Lakers into 41 turnovers.
Roosevelt will seek to snap a three-game skid this Wednesday, Jan. 11 at Judson in Elgin, Ill. Tip-off is at 5:30 p.m.
