Lemont, Ill. - The Roosevelt men's tennis team fell short in its bid for its first win of the 2012 season as host St. Francis (Ill.) posted a 9-0 victroy over the Lakers at Challenge Fitness.

The Fighting Saints swept through the doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead and then won each of the singles matches played in straight sets.

Roosevelt takes on Olivet Nazarene on Wednesday at the Grant Park Tennis Courts.
