BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Roosevelt finished Tuesday with its best round of the tournament, finishing 19^th at the Midwest/Central Region Preview hosted by Ferris State at KATKE Golf Course in Michigan.

Pierre Heylen led the Lakers by finishing 58^th, closing the tournament with two birdies over his final seven holes to shoot a 4-over 75 on Tuesday. The Frenchman made one birdie in Monday's first round to shoot a 79 and shot a 77 in the afternoon Monday to finish at 18 over for the tournament.

Ben Jones also finished inside the top-100 at 85^th place after shooting 26 over in the three rounds, bouncing back from an opening-round 84 to shoot 76 on Tuesday. Lucas Faubert finished in a tie for 94^th along with Marc Waller, who was playing as an independent, as both shot +31 in the event.

Matthew Webb carded four birdies in the third round, starting the day 2-under through four holes, to finish in 103^rd place. Jamie Garnett finished in 101^st position and ended the tournament with his second birdie of the 54-hole event.

UP NEXT: The Lakers head to Indianapolis next week for the two-day UIndy Fall Invitational at Broadmoor Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
