Women's Soccer Draws with Saint Francis Despite Holding 42 to 13 Edge in Shots

JOLIET, Ill. – The Roosevelt University women's soccer team tied the University of Saint Francis by the score of 2-2 on Wednesday, March 17 in Chicagoland Collegiate Conference (CCAC) action at Joliet Memorial Stadium.

The Lakers were on the offensive the majority of the game, outshooting the Fighting Saints 42-13, but were unable to find the back of the net until the 61st minute. Gabi Christidis (SO/Rockford, Ill.) dribbled through the USF backline and slotted her shot into the corner for her fourth goal of the season and a 1-0 RU lead.
