Box Score DAVENPORT, Iowa – The Roosevelt University men's volleyball team dropped a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) match to Saint Ambrose University in straight sets on Tuesday, March 9 at Lee Lohman Arena in Davenport, Iowa.
The Lakers fell behind 5-1 to open the match, but fought back to close the deficit to one-point at 12-11. However, the Fighting Bees scored the next six points and won the stanza 25-19. The second set followed the same format as the first with Roosevelt falling behind early and battling back to tie things up at 10-10. Saint Ambrose regained the lead and went on to take the set 25-19 for a 2-0 match lead. The third set was a highly competitive affair and the Lakers served for set point at 24-23 and 25-24, but the Fighting Bees came through both times and prevailed 27-25 to sweep the match.
