ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Roosevelt University women's basketball team squared off against 20th ranked University of Saint Francis on Friday, Feb. 19 at the Athletic & Convocation Center in Arlington Heights, Ill., losing the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) contest to the Fighting Saints by the score of 77-37.
The Lakers played the visitors tough during the first quarter and were tied at 7-7 with 2:38 to go before Saint Francis went on an 11-3 run to lead 18-10 at the end of the opening quarter. The Fighting Saints continued their momentum into the second quarter, outscoring Roosevelt 20-7 in to build a 38-17 half-time lead and put the game away.
