BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Roosevelt women's soccer team dropped a 5-0 road result to Olivet Nazarene at the Snowbarger Athletic Complex on Saturday evening.
Keeper Kelsey Heaton made 12 saves and two other Lakers made stops.
Olivet Nazarene (8-2-0, 5-0-0 CCAC) scored in the ninth minute and tacked on two more within a four-minute span in the middle of the first half.
Roosevelt (1-5-2, 0-4-1 CCAC) continued to battle, and while the Tigers scored in the 58th and 60th minutes, the Lakers mitigated the damage and blanked ONU for the final 30 minutes.
The Lakers host St. Francis (Ill.) this Tuesday at Stuart Field, with kickoff set for 2 p.m.
