Women's Basketball Hosts IU South Bend On Wednesday Night

Chicago, Ill. - The Roosevelt women's basketball team plays its lone game of the week on Wednesday evening as the Lakers play host to IU South Bend at Attack Athletics at 5:00 p.m. Fans can listen to the game live online via ISNet America.
Both the Lakers (12-10, 0-2) and Titans (8-12, 0-1) are in search of their first league victory. Roosevelt has won two of its last three games paced by the strong play of reigning CCAC Player of the Week Casey Davis. She averaged 23.3 points per game last week for the Lakers in leading the team to a 2-1 record in a trio of CCAC crossover contests.
IU South Bend, meanwhile, has dropped four of its last five decisions, including a 67-61 overtime loss to local rival Holy Cross on Saturday. Nichole Sly leads the team in scoring this season at 11.5 ppg, while Emily Strilich paces the Titans on the boards at 7.0 rpg.
Roosevelt is looking for its first-ever win over IUSB, after going 0-2 last season in the conference home-and-home series.
