Chicago, Ill. - The Roosevelt women's tennis team suffered its second straight CCAC setback on Wednesday, dropping a 9-0 decision to visiting Olivet Nazarene at the Grant Park Tennis Courts.
The Lakers (4-8, 1-3) lost a hard-fought match at No.1 doubles, 8-3, while also dropping the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles contests to fally behind early in the match. Things did not improve in singles play with the Tigers (7-6-1, 2-1) sweeping all six matches in straight sets.
Roosevelt will look to get back on the winning track on Tuesday, April 17 when it locks horns with city rival Robert Morris at the Grant Park Tennis Courts.
