ARLINGTON HEIGHTS – Roosevelt fell 4-0 to Concordia St. Paul on Sunday in the non-conference finale at Morris Field.
The Golden Bears scored less than six minutes into the match and were up 3-0 by the midway point of the half. Kaylee Sarnicola did her part by making eight saves as Concordia St. Paul held a 23-10 advantage in shot attempts.
The Lakers (0-2-2) had the first chance of the game with some good ball movement ending with Aaliyah Xiomara Leanos firing a low shot that was stopped by the Concordia St. Paul goalkeeper. Roosevelt did put five of its 10 attempts on net with Dayami Arias responsible for two of those shots on goal.
UP NEXT: Roosevelt begins conference action Friday against Parkside at 1 p.m. in Wisconsin. The Lakers and Rangers drew 0-0 in their only previous meeting in Kenosha.
