After clinching a berth in the GLVC Tournament a week ago, the Roosevelt men's volleyball team (16-10, 8-6 GLVC) secured the No. 4 seed over the weekend and will face top-seeded Maryville (17-7, 12-2 GLVC) in the conference tournament semifinals on Saturday at 3 p.m. in St. Louis. The Lakers and Saints met at the Goodman Center at the beginning of April, with the Saints taking both matches by scores of 3-1. The winner will move on to play for the GLVC Conference Tournament championship on Sunday at noon against the winner of the semifinal between Rockhurst and Missouri S&T.
Baseball
The Roosevelt baseball team (9-31, 0-16 GLIAC) heads to Kenosha, Wis. this week to face Parkside (21-17, 8-8 GLIAC) in the final road trip of the season. The two teams will play a four-game series, with the first game taking place on Friday at 3 p.m. On Saturday, the Lakers and Rangers will play a doubleheader with first pitch in game one set for 1 p.m., before wrapping up the series at noon Sunday.

After picking up a win at Grand Valley State last week, the Roosevelt softball team (10-30, 4-16 GLIAC) will head back to Michigan for doubleheaders with Davenport and Ferris State. The Lakers and Panthers (12-30, 8-12 GLIAC) will square off on Saturday in Caledonia with first pitch in game one set for noon. The two sides met back on April 4 in Rosemont with Davenport eking out narrow victories in both contests. Roosevelt will then head to Big Rapids to face Ferris State (23-16, 9-5 GLIAC) on Sunday, with the doubleheader getting underway at noon.
Track and Field
The Roosevelt men's and women's track and field programs will head to Bourbonnais, Ill. on Saturday to participate in the ONU Outdoor Meet hosted by Olivet Nazarene. This event is a makeup for the meet cancelled earlier this month due to rain and will serve as the final tuneup for the Lakers ahead of the GLIAC Championships next week.
