CHICAGO – Marie Outlay scored 21 points Monday night, but it was not enough as Roosevelt fell to No. 18 Ferris State 81-53 at the Goodman Center in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action.
The junior again came alive in the fourth quarter for the Lakers, scoring 13 points on 5 of 6 shooting over the final 10 minutes. She also added eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks in the setback, carrying Roosevelt on a day when not much else went right.
Kelly Boyle scrapped her way to 10 points and Isabel Lindo dished out five assists, but Roosevelt (6-15, 5-9 GLIAC) fell into too big of a hole to escape.
