CHICAGO – Roosevelt could not fully overcome a rough first quarter as Davenport held on for a 73-57 win over the Lakers in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action Thursday at the Goodman Center.
After the teams traded 3-pointers to start the game, the Panthers quickly pulled ahead with a 10-0 run and extended their lead to as many as 14 in the first quarter.
