BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Roosevelt's regular season came to an end Saturday with a disappointing 3-0 loss to Ferris State in Big Rapids, Michigan.

Having already secured their spot in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament, the Lakers were simply playing for seeding against the Bulldogs. Ferris State
scored in the 20^th minute then doubled the lead in the 29^th minute to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. The Bulldogs added their third in the 64^th minute to demote Roosevelt to the eighth seed in the conference tournament.

The Lakers (5-11-1, 3-10-1 GLIAC) had some chances but none of their eight shot attempts were on target. Daisy Hernandez-Loya, Bella Perry and Carisma Rosales each had two shot attempts for Roosevelt while Cami Butler and Daisy Garcia had the other two for the Lakers. Roxy Herrera stopped six shots with Ferris State ending the match with a 31-9 edge in shot attempts.

UP NEXT: The Lakers head back to Michigan on Tuesday for the GLIAC Quarterfinals when they face top-seeded Grand Valley State. Kickoff time has been set for 3 p.m. in Allendale.
