KENOSHA, Wis. – Roosevelt's off night on the 3-point arc helped UIS to an 88-56 win over the Lakers on Friday on the first day of the GLIAC-GLVC Crossover in Kenosha, Wis.
The Lakers (0-1) shot a respectable 43 percent from the field in the game, but made just two of their 12 attempts from behind the arc. Meanwhile, UIS sank 14 of 24 from 3-point range, including 7 of 10 in the first half, to build its lead.
