CRESTWOOD, Ill. – The Roosevelt baseball team was felled by visiting Robert Morris Illinois by a final of 15-5 at Standard Bank Stadium on Thursday.

The Lakers (14-16, 10-5 CCAC) were hindered by an eight-run third that saw the Eagles (27-8, 10-4 CCAC) score seven unearned runs.

Jake Hutchinson drove in two runs during Roosevelt's four-run sixth.

Both teams had eight hits apiece.

Roosevelt begins a three-game weekend series against Indiana South Bend on Saturday.
