Baseball Beats Trinity International, Sweeps Season Series

DEERFIELD, Ill. - Matt Kozlak and Charley Zeschke had three hits apiece while Matt Donahue homered and drove in four runs, and the Roosevelt baseball team cruised to a 13-6 win over Trinity International on Monday.

Donahue hit a three-run homer and Leo Lunatto added a two-run shot during a 14-hit effort.

Matt Dunne threw seven innings for his seventh win of the season as the Lakers (21-20, 15-9 CCAC) put up crooked numbers in three innings to support their pitching.

Anthony Nicholas and Jacob Barlev each threw a hitless inning of relief as Roosevelt swept the three-game season series against the Trojans (1-37, 1-24 CCAC).

Roosevelt hosts Robert Morris at Standard Bank Stadium on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
