Madison Massaro

Maddie Massaro was promoted to assistant coach for the Roosevelt softball program in July 2024 after serving as the team's graduate assistant for the 2024 season.

Massaro was a key part of coaching staff in her first year with the Lakers, helping lead Roosevelt to a third-place finish in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. She helped mentor Roosevelt's five all-conference players last season, including first-team pitcher Samantha Norman. Massaro was the main pitch caller for Norman as the senior struck out 128 batters and walked just 28 with a 2.08 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in more than 130 innings in the circle.

Massaro is currently finishing her master's degree in business administration in addition to serving in this new role for the Lakers. She came to Roosevelt last season after completing her softball career at St. Francis (Ill.) where she batted .317 in her three years with the Fighting Saints. As a senior, Massaro was a second-team all-conference player and a member of the CCAC's Gold Glove team as a catcher.

The Romeoville native began her collegiate career at Robert Morris University Illinois, where she batted .242 with four RBIs as a freshman in 2019.
