Tyler Holte joined the Lakers football program in 2023 as the team's wide receivers coach and is in his second year coaching the position.

He arrived in Chicago after a four-year career at NCAA Division III Wisconsin-Whitewater,  where he was a team captain as well as a 3x All Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference athlete, twice as a receiver, once as a return specialist. As well as a four-time conference champion, finishing his career with a staggering 47-7 record.

After his playing career, he stepped right into coaching the following spring as an assistant WR coach at Wisconsin-Whitewater.
