WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Roosevelt survived an up-and-down weekend at a pair of events Saturday and Sunday in West Lafayette, Ind.

In the traditional Boilermaker Classic, the Lakers finished 13^th Saturday with Joseph Diaz leading the way with a 890, good enough for 38^th place. Caleb Desavieu was right behind Diaz with an 889 for 39^th place and Troy Welker bowled an 875 for 44^th.

On Sunday, Roosevelt participated in the Boilermaker Baker Shootout and finished 12^th in that one-day event. The Lakers scored a total of 4,286 over the course of 25 Baker games, slightly better than the 4,107 they scored in Saturday's event with five individuals each bowling five games.
