Box Score ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Roosevelt University men's soccer team lost a CCAC Conference contest to Judson University by the score of 1-0 on Saturday, October 8 at Morris Field. The loss dropped the Lakers' conference record to 4-3 and evened their overall record at 5-5 on the year.
Both teams had limited scoring opportunities in the first half with Judson holding a 4-2 shot advantage. Unfortunately for the Lakers, one of those Eagles' shots by Samuel Chavez found the back of the net in the 33rd minute and Judson held a 1-0 lead the half.
In the second half, Roosevelt started to generate more offense as it looked for the equalizing goal. Despite outshooting Judson 6-2 in the final 45 minutes, the Lakers could not solve the Eagles' defense and dropped the conference game by the score of 1-0.
