SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Roosevelt University men's soccer team opened the 2021 spring season with a 4-1 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) loss to Holy Cross College on Thursday, March 11 at TCU School Field in South Bend, Ind.
The Lakers fell behind just five minutes into the game and were down 2-0 in the 27th minute, but Jose Rivera (SO/Chicago, Ill.) cut the deficit to 2-1 11 minutes later on an unassisted goal. Unfortunately, that would be the only time the Lakers would find the back of the net, while the Saints added goals in the 58th and 78th minutes for the 4-1 final score.
