ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Roosevelt University men's soccer team earned a CCAC Conference victory with a 3-0 win over Holy Cross College (Ind.) on Wednesday, October 13 at Morris Field.  The victory raised the Lakers conference record to 5-4 and evened their overall record at 5-5-1 on the year.

The first half was a scoreless affair with the Saints having a slight 5-2 edge in shots during the first 45 minutes of play. 

The second half was more of the same until the Lakers found the back of the net in the 73^rd minute with Carmel Saboutey Tettey knocking in a Sebastian Rodriguez corner kick for a 1-0 lead.  That lead stayed intact into the final few minutes of the game when RU scored two goals in a 50-second span to seal the 3-0 victory.  Eduardo Hernandez gave the Lakers a 2-0 advantage at the 86:04 mark off an Omar Flores assists, and then Sebastian Padilla made it a 3-0 contest at the 86:54 mark with Eduardo Hernandez earning the assist.
