Fourth-Quarter Run Sends Women's Basketball Past St. Ambrose, 62-50

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Paige Gallimore posted game highs of 17 points and 15 rebounds for her fourth straight double-double, and the Roosevelt women's basketball team used a 19-2 fourth-quarter run to break open a two-point game and defeat host St. Ambrose, 62-50, at Lee Lohman Arena on Wednesday.

Gallimore and Becca Bergman tallied six points apiece during the 23-13 fourth for the Lakers, who evened their record at 12-12 while improving to 6-8 in CCAC play.
Lindzy Cox added 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists for a well-rounded performance from the rookie.
Aubrie Carlisle led the Bees (7-15, 3-11 CCAC) with 10 points.
The game was separated by a bucket heading into the fourth, and the Lakers nursed that same two-point advantage three minutes into the quarter when Bergman canned a trey to start a quick 6-0 burst.
After SAU's Hailey Cook scored to make it a six-point game, the Lakers scored 13 unanswered points and held the Bees scoreless for more than three minutes while the guests in Green and White went ahead by 19.
The Lakers got hot at crunch time, shooting 67 percent in the fateful fourth.
Gallimore continued her double-dipping ways scoring the ball and pulling down rebounds, recording her team-leading seventh double-double of the campaign.
Roosevelt will seek to extend its road winning streak to four games when the Lakers take on 15th-ranked Purdue Northwest in Hammond, Ind. this Saturday at 1 p.m.
