DEERFIELD, Ill. – Brooke Lee turned in a pair of double-doubles as the Roosevelt volleyball team split a pair of contests on the final day of the CCAC Crossover hosted by Trinity International on Saturday.
The Lakers (11-15, 7-9 CCAC) fell to CCAC leader Olivet Nazarene (19-14, 14-1 CCAC), 25-20, 25-19, 25-20, in the day's opener before rallying from a 2-1 set deficit to upend Purdue Calumet (10-20, 4-11 CCAC) in five sets, 25-19, 22-25, 22-25, 25-20, 15-12.
Lee had a double-double of 25 kills and 15 digs in the win over the Peregrines, while Tori Schrementi added 12 kills in that same match.
Lee started the day with a 13-kill, 10-dig showing in three frames against a difficult Tiger side.
The five-set win saw Marissa Minturn hand out 43 assists, and Arielle Nausieda had 23 digs.
Abby Petroelje also had a solid day with 17 kills between the two contests.
Roosevelt next takes the court when it faces Judson in Elgin on Oct. 30.
