Scott Tierney enters his first season with the Lakers baseball program as an assistant coach.
He previously coached at Robert Morris University Illinois during the 2019 season alongside head coach Jason Becker. Tierney has had a lifelong career in athletics in several capacities. The Tinley Park resident has been an NCAA Division I basketball official for more than 10 years after a successful collegiate career at UNC Wilmington. After graduating, Tierney played professionally in France, Ireland and Portgual.Â
Tierney is a resident of Tinley Park, Illinois where he resides with his wife Heide , son Camren and daughter Cali.
