Roosevelt University

Mick Stewart

Mick Stewart joined the Roosevelt football staff in February 2025 as the team's defensive line coach.

The Chicagoland native began his coaching career at his alma mater, Lincoln-Way East High School, after finishing his career at the school. He eventually matriculated to Saint Xavier where he was a three-year student-assistant coach for the Cougars. During that span, he worked extensively with Roosevelt head coach Bill McKeon on the Saint Xavier defense, helping the unit lead the country in sacks while holding opponents to less than 100 rushing yards per game.

After his three years with Saint Xavier, Stewart spent a year as the assistant linebackers coach at the University of Minnesota under P.J. Fleck. He then spent the 2024 season at Harvard where he worked with the linebackers and all four special teams units.
