Jennilyn Joy Cave joined Roosevelt University in March 2026 as a Staff Athletic Trainer.
Prior to arriving with the Lakers, Cave worked as a contracted athletic trainer through ATI Physical Therapy form 2022-2026, mainly focusing on Aurora University. She was a four-year volleyball standout at Carroll University from 2016-2020 and obtained her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training while also completing a 16-week internship with Northwestern University with their Division I football team. Shortly after graduating, she had the opportunity to be a graduate-assistant athletic trainer at Ottawa University Arizona, where she obtained her Master's degree in Leadership in Healthcare Management. She also holds a Corrective Exercise Specialization, as well as a Level 1- DNPro Certification.

Cave is a native of Bolingbrook, Ill. and has six years of experience working with football, baseball/softball and track athletes. She coached volleyball at Bolingbrook High School for four seasons and spent part of eight years as a part-time club coach in Chicagoland.
