Danny Hayes is entering his fifth year at Roosevelt after starting his collegiate coaching career in 2009 at Robert Morris University Illinois as the head coach of the men's team. In his time there, he coached the Eagles to four NAIA national titles and was an assistant for three NAIA women’s team titles. He also was an assistant coach for three USBC ISC men’s national titles, one USBC ITC men’s national titles and a pair of USBC women’s national titles.
He has coached three bowlers who were named Rookie of the Year and two who were voted national Player of the Year. He coached the men’s program to a number 1 ranking in three straight years. Hayes continues to reside in Chicago where he still coaches at Diversey Bowl, and mentors a number of PBA bowlers, PWBA bowlers and local elite youth and adults.
