Allison Buell joined the Roosevelt cross country and track & field staff ahead of the 2025-26 academic year as an assistant coach.

Buell served two years as an assistant at Purdue Northwest with Lakers head coach Michael Moffitt before arriving in Chicago. In Hammond, Buell coached an All-American high jumper. A member of the Hammond Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2021, she competed at the high jump at Cornell and has gone on to coach cross country at several different levels for the past two decades.
