Dominic DeNardo

Dominic DeNardo will begin his third season in charge of the Roosevelt men's and women's tennis teams in 2025.

In his first year at the helm, DeNardo orchestrated the best season in both program's histories with the men advancing to the conference semifinals and the women competing for the conference championship. Two different Lakers entered the national rankings under DeNardo's tutelage and the Roosevelt men pulled off an upset of NCAA Division I Chicago State as well.

In his first two seasons, DeNardo has coached four all-conference players and nine College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees.

DeNardo arrived in Chicago after leading NCAA Division II Upper Iowa University's women's tennis team in 2022-23. Under his leadership, the Peacocks had one 2022-23 all-conference performer in the competitive Northern Sun Conference. Prior to joining Upper Iowa, DeNardo served two years as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Howard Payne University, in Texas, where he played for three seasons and was a two-time Distinguished Scholar-Athlete by the American Southwest Conference. DeNardo coached three more all-academic players in his time as a graduate assistant with Howard Payne.

He began his collegiate playing career at Arizona Christian University before transferring to Howard Payne in 2018 and graduated with his bachelor's degree as well as his masters in business administration. He was a two-time Distinguished Scholar-Athlete by the American Southwest Conference as a student-athlete.
