Don Morris

Don Morris enters his fourth year in charge of the Lakers men's golf program.

The University of Wisconsin graduate led Roosevelt to the CCAC championship in 2023, the third consecutive title for the program. He also helped the Lakers to their best performance of the season at the GLIAC Championships, bringing Roosevelt within a stroke of the match play portion of the event. He has coached four first-team all-conference performers and an NAIA PING All-Region honoree during his three seasons with the Lakers. 

Morris is a PGA Quarter Century Member and has been a member of the PGA since 1994. He's instructed and advised PGA / LPGA champions, numerous Touring Professionals, Amateur and Junior Champions. He has 25-plus years of instructional experience and has learned from the best Top 100 instructors like John Jacobs, Hank Haney, Jim Flick, Rick Smith, Pete Cowan, Homero Blancas, Manuel de la Torre, and Don Crowley. He also serves as the PGA Head Golf Professional at Midtown Athletic Club in Chicago.
