Lindsay Jones

Lindsay Jones enters her fifth season leading the Lakers Spirit Program, overseeing both the cheerleading and dance programs. Jones also serves as the head coach of the dance team, leading the Lakers to a national championship in hip hop during the 2025 National Dance Association College Nationals.

Jones previously held the same role at Robert Morris University Illinois and brings more than 30 years of training and over 25 years of professional coaching experience, including eight years at RMU. In addition, she served for two years as Director of the Orchesis Dance Company and Head Competitive Dance Coach at Saint Viator High School. 

Jones is a 2004 graduate of the Illinois Art Institute of Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing in Management, and she would go on to complete her Master of Education in Post-Secondary and Higher Education at Argosy University of Chicago in 2011. Jones graduated from Bolingbrook High School (Ill.) in 1999, and landed her first coaching job at the age of 18 after serving as a captain of the Raiders Dance Team during her senior year. 

A recreational dancer by the age of three, a competitive dancer by age 10, and then went on to dance for a few professional sports teams as a young adult for four seasons. Jones holds more than 30 years of training and over 20 years of professional coaching experience. In addition to her role as Roosevelts Spirit Coordinator, Jones holds certifications as a Sports Performance Specialist and L1 CrossFit Coach. In her free time, she also is an accounting manager at Background Screening Consultants in Rolling Meadows, Ill. 

Jones is a current resident of Arlington Heights, Ill., where she resides with her husband Brad and their two children Rylan and Kennedy.
